It has always been my belief that you should give back and help when you are able. Thank God we are able! I knew that as a business owner I would have the means and ability to give back. With that said…Enlighten Studio is proud to raise money and help support the many children and adults afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis, a terrible and debilitating disease.

From 11 – 4 on Sun April 1st we will be holding a cut – a – thon. We proudly invite you and your family to come help support a great cause. Not only will we be offering haircuts, we will also have chair massages, cupcakes, coffee, and raffle tickets for salon services, and much, much more to come. Be sure to stay tuned!!

If for whatever reason you are not able to make it over on April 1st, you can help support by purchasing an Enlighten Studio CF Card. Just stop by our location and donate any amount of your choosing, write your name on the CF card and we will proudly post it up in our studio. I would love to see the studio wall full of these cards. We will be taking these donations through April 21, 2012. Anyway you can help support is greatly appreciated

MaryBrooke Martin wrote a short piece (below the pic) about Cystic Fibrosis and a wonderful young man named Matt. We are holding this event in his honor. Thank You MaryBrooke for your contribution and help in making this event a reality.

Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States. So being diagnosed at 17 years old is quite a challenge for a High School student.   In 2007 Destination Paradise was created for a 23 year old young adult named Matt. The Team started in West Palm Beach Florida, where Matt along with his friends and family joined The Great Strides Walk for a Cure.  Great Strides is a foundation to help raise money for ones that have Cystic Fibrosis.

During the last 3 years, Destination Paradise has joined up with Great Strides of Arizona!  Matt’s brother and sister have helped spread the word about CF to their friends, co-workers, and extended families. This year is dedicated more to Matt because of his passing in October. In memory of his strength to fight and for those still fighting, we would like your support on April 1st!
